Who are we ?
The story begins in 2009, when Marie-Claude Décarie founded MCDécarie Joaillerie. By 2015, the company had grown enough to open a workshop-boutique in Oka, specializing in personalized jewelry, custom designs, and transformation services.
In 2020, Charles joined the adventure. Originally stepping in to support his partner during the pandemic, he soon became the company's official jeweler, bringing a skill set that perfectly complemented Marie-Claude’s. Together, they balanced life between the studio and their three children with a shared sense of purpose and harmony.
A true artist at heart, Marie-Claude later expanded her creative path to include tattooing, all while continuing to craft jewelry. In 2024, the company evolved into Atelier Noir et Or, uniting both artistic realms under one roof — driven by a shared passion for creating unique, custom-made pieces.

Wednesday to Saturday:
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
For tattoo and jewelry transformation services, appointments are required.
For all other services (repairs, estimates, gold purchases, etc.), you can come directly to the workshop; making an appointment is appreciated, but not mandatory.

At MCDécarie, our collections are exclusive to our brand, and entirely designed and manufactured in Quebec, Canada. Unlike classic jewelry stores, our catalog does not present any resale jewelry. Even our more common jewels, such as chains, are assembled and finished on site, in the workshop. This is how we can offer you custom-made jewelry, sold without an intermediary.
