ALVA hook earrings are chic, simple and elegant. Freshwater pearls have a diameter of 5 mm to 6 mm. They are accompanied by a stone set on claws.
For the rhodium silver version, the stones are cubic zirconium.
For the 10k gold version, the stones are laboratory diamonds.
The hooks are made of 0.8mm wire and are backed with a rubber butterfly, for extra security.

These quality earrings are available in rhodium plated solid silver, 10k yellow gold or 10k white gold. With these materials, the risks of reactions or allergies are very rare. They will not change or tarnish.
The pearls are available in shades of white or peacock. White shades have cream or pink highlights on a white background, while peacock shades have yellow or purple highlights on a dark green background. These reflections, known as the orient, give the pearls a unique glow and depth.
Freshwater pearls are composed entirely of the nacre produced by the mollusk. They have a denser structure than sea pearls, which are made up of a nucleon covered with the nacre produced by the mollusk. Freshwater pearls are therefore very resistant and cannot flake off because they are formed from a block. They offer a beautiful quality of brilliance. Radiation treatment produces darker shades, for a totally natural and long-lasting look, unlike dyed pearls, which are of lower quality. The infrastructure used for pearl farming in lakes is simpler and less expensive than that used in the sea. In addition, each transplanted mollusk can produce up to fifty pearls instead of one or two in sea pearl culture. This makes harvest easier, without affecting quality. These factors explain the lower cost of freshwater pearls and allow us to offer you quality and elegant creations at attractive prices.

ALVA Reimer Myrdal (1902 - 1986) was a Swedish social scientist, researcher and diplomat. She helped found the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, an institute for strategic studies on the importance of conflict and cooperation for world peace. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1982 for her work on nuclear disarmament.
