BETTY earrings, 8-9 mm pearls
These quality earrings are available in regular sterling silver, sterling silver rhodium plated, 14k yellow gold, or 14k white gold. With these materials, the risks of reactions or allergies are very rare. Rhodium or 14k gold earrings will not change or tarnish.
The pearls are available in shades of white or peacock. White shades have cream or pink highlights on a white background, while peacock shades have yellow or purple highlights on a dark green background. These reflections, known as the orient, give the pearls a unique glow and depth.
Freshwater pearls are composed entirely of the nacre produced by the mollusk. They have a denser structure than sea pearls, which are made up of a nucleon covered with the nacre produced by the mollusk. Freshwater pearls are therefore very resistant and cannot flake off because they are formed from a block. They offer a beautiful quality of brilliance. Radiation treatment produces darker shades, for a totally natural and long-lasting look, unlike dyed pearls, which are of lower quality. The infrastructure used for pearl farming in lakes is simpler and less expensive than that used in the sea. In addition, each transplanted mollusk can produce up to fifty pearls instead of one or two in sea pearl culture. This makes harvest easier, without affecting quality. These factors explain the lower cost of freshwater pearls and allow us to offer you quality and elegant creations at attractive prices.

BETTY Williams (1943 - 2020), Northern Ireland. In 1976, three children were killed in a shooting in Belfast. Betty then organizes her first demonstration. She calls against the senseless use of violence in the conflict between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland and creates the pacifist organization Community of Peace People. The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to her in 1976 for his courageous efforts to end violent conflict in Northern Ireland.
